Who looks after your data

What we collect

Your name, email and password (stored in scrambled form), your profile photo, bio, interests and goals, and what you post, like, comment on or report. We also keep login records such as your IP address and device, to protect your account.

Why

To run your account and the community, keep it safe through moderation, and send emails you need, such as confirmation and password reset links. We don't sell your data or run advertising on it.

Who can see it

Your profile and posts are visible to logged-in members, not the public. Moderators can see reports and hidden content. Please don't share medical details here.

Our service providers store or deliver data for us: Amazon Web Services (hosting and photos, in Ireland) and Resend (email).

How long we keep it

Until you delete your account, which removes your profile, posts, comments, likes and photos. Encrypted backups are removed within 30 days after that. Moderation records keep a note of the action taken.

Your rights

You can see and correct your details on your profile, delete your account in Settings, or write to us to access your data or object to how it's used. You can also complain to Kenya's Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.

Age

Accounts are for people aged 18 and over for now.
